The
teachers and support staff at Water of Life Christian School are
selected on the basis of educational training and experience, Christian
background, and the calling to the ministry of Christian education.
Each staff member strives to reflect Christ in every part of their lives
and is dedicated to continued Christian growth and maturity. Our
Elementary teachers must have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- A California Teaching Credential
- Classroom Experience
In addition to spiritual maturity and a calling to Christian school
education, WOLCS uses the following standards when selecting Preschool teachers:
- 12 Units Early Childhood Development
- 1 year experience working in a preschool
- Finger printed and background check
- Professional and personal references
Preschool teachers must meet State of California Title 22
requirements for educational preparation.
Our staff has current CPR and first aid training and attend A.C.S.I.
conferences to obtain specific professional growth hours from local
colleges or universities.
Ongoing professional growth is a requirement for Water of Life staff
members.
