International Program - Admissions Procedure/Student Checklist

2011-2012 School Year: August 8, 2011 - May 18, 2012

School hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., except minimum days when dismissal is at 1:00 p.m.

 

Admissions:

Students are required to have a US guardian. Students will not be accepted without a completed guardian information sheet. Parents are responsible for finding and maintaining a guardian throughout the student's time in our school.

A copy of the student's immunization record must be on file and applicants must show proof of TB testing (TB Mantoux). This may be turned in when the student arrives in the US, but the student cannot attend school until we receive this document.

If a transfer student, provide a copy of a current I-20 form.

Upon acceptance you will receive:

  • Current I-20 (or Letter of Intent to Transfer for transfer students)
  • Cover Letter / Acceptance Letter as proof of your acceptance

Fees:

Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $500 per child and a $50 testing fee are due with the application. (These fees cover administration costs, books (K-5), field trips, and Christmas Program T-shirt)

Tuition: Tuition is $6,350 for the 2011-2012 school year beginning August 8, 2011 and ending May 18, 2012. Tuition payment for the entire school year is required at the time of enrollment.

Family Tuition Discount: 10% off of the 2nd child, 25% of off 3 or more children.

Lunches: Offered daily for $3.50 if prepaid in advance for the month, or $4.50 if paid daily.

 

Extended Day Care:

There is no charge for students dropped off between 8:15 - 8:30 a.m., and picked up between 3:00 - 3:15 p.m. Charges WILL apply if your child is dropped off before 8:15 a.m. and picked up after 3:15 p.m.

Extended Day Care fees must be paid in advance monthly via RenWeb (see rates below.) There is no family discount on extended day care charges.

Occasional Use:

$5.00 p/hour or $50.00 for 10 hours of day care. Billed by the 1/2 hour.

Monthly Flat Fees:

Full Time (6:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.) and (3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) = $270.00 per month

AM only (6:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.) = $95.00 per month   |   PM only (3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) = $175.00 per month

Late Fee:

School closes promptly at 6:00 p.m. A charge of $1.00 per minute will apply after 6:00 p.m.

 

HOLIDAY CAMPS -- Available for Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Easter breaks for a small fee.

SUMMER CAMP -- Academics, Sports, Field trips, Swimming, & More. Available for a fee.

SUMMER SCHOOL -- Reading and math classes for students entering grades 1-6 in the Fall. Available for a fee.
