The teaching-learning cycle of every lesson taught at WOLCS has at its
core a world view based on the truths about the character of God and our
relationship with Him. Foremost among these truths is that God loves us
and has created us with a purpose.
Water of Life Christian School uses the State of California Content
Standards as a guideline for minimum student achievement in each core
subject area. In some subjects, such
as in computer, the National Education Technology Standards (NETS) are
used.
Where no state or federal standards are available, as in Bible, we
carefully choose curriculum materials that help our students reach the
school's expected outcomes.
Our goal is to meet and go beyond California
Content Standards by using our core curriculum and enhancing it with a
variety of activities.

everyday of the school year. Our staff is dedicated to helping
children come to know Jesus and experience the wonders of His world and
His great love for us in every area of study. The materials listed above
help us in the pursuit of academic excellence, but it is our staff, with
the help of God's Sprit, who bring the curriculum to life and bring the
life of Jesus to our students.
